We got a bit of snow last week and Ian was excited to try out his new skis so we wandered down the road we live on to see how they worked. They are a very basic pair that work much like x-country skis in that his heel comes up when he walks in them. There is a little hill on our street and Ian was determined to ski down the "mountain." He had fun and it was the perfect first outing - no expectations, no lines, no need to be out more than 20 minutes!
