My parents came to visit last weekend and we had a wonderful time. The weather was gorgeous - cool but clear blue sunny skies. We took a number of hikes and showed them around a little bit. We also had promised Ian that he could go back to the Maine Jump (aka the bouncy house) when Grammy and Papa came to visit so they took the boys up to Bangor and we had a lovely afternoon/evening to go ice skating and hiking without the munchkins. It's so fun having my parents within driving distance rather than 16-18 hours and 2-3 flights away. I'm excited that the boys will get to see them much more frequently - in fact my Mom will be back next week and two weeks after that I'm going to head back to Gilford for the weekend.
However, it's not as though these boys haven't seen their Grammy and Papa much. My Dad and I figured out that he has already spent 3.5 months with Brendan since he was born - that's pretty amazing considering he's only 11 months old!
