We just returned from 5 fabulous days with Grammy and Papa. The weather was incredible - sunny and in the 90's most days which meant we spent a tremendous amount of time at the lake. Ian and Brendan loved the beach... What could be better than a never ending sandbox WITH unlimited water attached to it!?! They also enjoyed the boat. One of my all time favorite things growing up was sitting in the bow of the boat, zooming across the lake and feeling the waves bounce me up and down. I have awesome memories of sitting up there with Tammy and giggling together as we were launched into the air. Sharing this experience with Ian, Brendan and Stephen was so special. Seeing the three of them bouncing up and down, laughing along with me while Papa and Grammy watched the silliness was definitely one of those moments that I will never forget. So special!
My parents also gave Stephen and I another chance to get away together so we took off for a night in the white mountains. We had a fabulous time... We hiked double top (a local mountain near our B&B) and Mt Chocorua, swam in several mountain streams, ate Indian food and ice cream, went to see a movie and even played miniature golf at the course I worked at back when I was 14 years old! We had a blast! Thanks Grammy and Papa! You're the best!
