I'm realizing that I'm a month behind in posting these photos. I'll use the "full time working mother of two" excuse once again! We had fun celebrating Stephen's birthday. Ian and his friend Rohan had a blast decorating the cake and blowing out the candles (I actually had to really search for a photo that had Stephen in it... Ian and Rohan definitely monopolized the party). Ian LOVES birthdays. He doesn't seem to discriminate whether it's his birthday or someone else's - he gets cake, blows out candles and opens gifts regardless of whether it's his day or not! In fact, I had put Stephen's wrapped gifts in our bedroom to keep Ian from being tempted to open them before Stephen got home from work. Well, it didn't really work... when Stephen came home he went into the bedroom to change his clothes and saw all of his gifts on the bed... unwrapped. He was a good sport about it and wrapped them back up without us knowing and even looked surprised when he opened them in front of us later on!
