Wow! I haven't posted anything for three weeks. My last post was 3 days before I returned to work. I guess that's one of the best ways of explaining how busy life has become. Working and being a Mommy of two is a whole new realm and I'll be the first to admit that I'm still struggling to find a balance. Ian and Brendan are doing incredibly well. Ian has been without diapers for 4 weeks now (granted there have been plenty of accidents but fewer and fewer with each passing day) and has become a wonderful loving big brother. He has been extremely helpful, retrieving Brendan's lost binky and also making his little brother smile and laugh. It touches my heart to see the two of them beginning to interact with one another in a loving way. Brendan continues to grow and change at a rapid rate. I weighed him on our home scale in the when he was 3 months old and he was over 16 1/2 pounds. He continues to be an easy going baby. I continue to be amazed by how he has his very specific schedule. He routinely takes a nap around 10am, 12:30 and 5pm. I can actually set my watch by his nap times... particularly the 5:00 one which tends to sneak up on me. Often I'll notice him getting fussy and wonder what is going on and suddenly I'll look at the clock and realize, Oh! It's 5:00, it's time for his nap.
