As part of my work with parenting I arranged for my massage therapist (who specializes in prenatal and infant massage) came to one of the parenting groups I lead to run an infant massage class. She needed a baby to demonstrate on so I volunteered Brendan. It was cute watching him because he totally LOVED the massage. It lasted about 20 minutes and he looked like he was in baby heaven! I realize that I am doomed for the rest of his childhood... he's going to be the first two year old to request to have a massage as his Christmas present instead of the latest Thomas the Train toy! I guess it's only fair... My parents introduced me to lobster at the tender age of 5 and I requested to have lobster again for every special occasion afterwards... No pizza or hot dogs for this kid!
