Well, it's official! Ian can swim on his own. This morning we were swimming at Long Pond and when he took his bubble off I noticed that he was treading water and swimming all on his own! We returned to the pond after nap time with Daddy so Ian could make his first swim out to the raft WITHOUT a bubble and HE DID IT! I swam along side of him and let him rest along the way but he mare it to the raft on his own steam. I'm so proud of my little guy and love seeing how proud he is of his accomplishment. I don't have any photos to mark the occasion but thought it worthy of a blog entry anyway...
