It's official. Winter has arrived. I have to admit that this time of year is my least favorite. It's cold, dark and there isn't any snow to play in yet. But soon enough! Decorate the tree
Make gingerbread house
Roast marshmallows on the fire
Go to the library and get books about Christmas and read them while sipping hot cocoa under the tree...
I should have made a calendar with Mommy ideas. It would read something like this...
Take a bath whiles listening to Christmas music and sipping a glass of wine.
Go Christmas shopping. Alone. Stop by a bookstore and sip a hot cocoa.
Call a friend and have a long conversation without interruptions.
But that calendar is a few decades away and I know when I finally get to make it I think back longingly on these magical holiday moments.
