Skiing!

Ian and Brendan are officially little skiers now.  Papa bought Ian a set of used skis and Brendan was the perfect size to move into the first set of skis and boots we bought for Ian.  We headed up to Hermon Mountain (a tiny ski area just outside of Bangor which is perfect for our little family) the day before the ice storm to try out their new gear.  They both did incredibly well.  Brendan took two runs and was actually quite independent with the harness and seemed to be getting the hang of turning his skis a little bit.  Ian took 4 runs and was awesome.  Most importantly, we had fun.  Hot cocoa and treats were a big part of the day and made our little skiers quite happy.  It was a little glimpse of some of the fun we can look forward to with these little ones!
