Almost always together...

Ian and Brendan continue to be best buddies.  Not long ago we were talking about friends and I asked Ian who his best friend was.   He named a friend from school.  When I asked Brendan who his best friend was he replied,  "Ian."   And it's true.  Brendan is always with Ian and when Ian isn't  around for some reason, Brendan will ask, "where's Ian?" (Which he pronounces EEE-on).  They have their moments when they are classic siblings, fighting over toys, etc.  but overall they are amazing together.   Their play is becoming more elaborate as they get older as well.  They love playing puppies, typically Brendan is the dog and Ian is the owner however one morning they both came downstairs pretending to be puppies so I gave them their "puppy food" in bowls on the floor!   Ian enjoys explaining things to Brendan and takes pride in being a great big brother.  Brendan will  go along with pretty much anything Ian wants him to do and is incredibly patient and loyal.
