We met my parents last week in Northern Michigan for a week that was a mixture of work and play. We enjoyed a boating trip on Lake Superior. It was Ian's first boat trip but I don't think he was very impressed because he slept through the majority of it. We enjoyed seeing a part of the country that I hadn't visited before. I particularly enjoyed seeing my parents again. Here we are on the shores of Lake Superior.

Grammy and Grandpa took over caring for Ian and gave Stephen and I a much needed (and appreciated) break. Here's bath time fun...
Ian loved the attention he got while confined to the back seat with Grammy and Grandpa...
His first time swimming in a pool (he was a natural after all of our "swimming lessons" in the bathtub)....
And after all of that fun, Grandpa and Ian settled down for a nap...

Ian is so adorable! I cannot believe how big he is getting! Before we know it, we will be celebrating one year! Hope you are well, and I am glad we got to catch up the other day. We will certainly let you know when there is news to share!
