Catching up....

Finally, a chance to get caught up on all that we have recently been up to. I have spent the past few days going through and organizing the 1,559 photos that we have taken since Ian was born (that it NOT a typo, we truly have taken that many pictures - thank goodness for digital cameras otherwise we might need a second mortgage on our home to pay for all of the film!). It was a task that I kept putting off but the hard drive on our laptop had reached its capacity so I had no choice but to organize and save to disk so that I could download these most recent photos.

We spent the second week of August in Breckenridge, Colorado at a primary care conference. We were pretty dedicated to spending most of our time at the conference but found some time to go for some hikes.
Ian has grown to love his backpack. It's been a great investment, not only is it great for hikes but has been wonderful to travel through the airport with as well. He also gets a ton of attention when we have him in there in public. But who could resist smiling at this little guy?...
We also checked out the pool at the hotel. Ian loves the water and has a ball splashing around.
We enjoyed our trip but found that after a busy month of traveling we were all ready to get home and back to a routine. We also had the somewhat unexpected surprise of having two months off from work... More to follow on that tomorrow!
