My Mom arrived a week ago and we have been having a ball. I had a super busy week at work and was so grateful to have her here with my father to take care of Ian (and Stephen and I as well). It was so much fun to come home from work each day and hear about all of their adventures... trips to the store, park and lighthouse in the stroller and backpack, rolling over practice, baby yoga class, high jump lessons and of course nap time. It was even more of a treat to come home to find dinner on the table and a smiling Ian waiting for me. I LOVE having their incredible help and support and am so grateful for their wanting to spend these weeks living with us and caring for us.
Wednesday was Stephen's birthday which we celebrated with many decadent desserts and lots of presents - Ian was in awe of the candles...
Dad returned home yesterday but Mom is staying on for another week which is so much fun! It's also going to be a lighter work week for me which means that Mom and I will have some time to relax together and I will finally have a chance to post some of the videos of my rolling little man.
