Ian turned 4 months old today. It's hard for me to remember what it was like before he arrived. What did I do with all my free time before breast feeding, diaper changing, doing massive amounts of laundry and acting as his personal entertainer? Gosh! Ian continues to smile and talk up a storm. He has rolled over a few times now but doesn't want to show off his new skill too much. He's over 17 pounds now and around 27 inches long. I saw a few newborns last week and had a hard time believing that he was ever that small. He's also making massive amounts of drool (perhaps there is a bit of St. Bernard puppy in him?) and gnawing at anything and everything he can get into his mouth. He seems to prefer the knuckle on my first finger. I can't imagine it tastes very good, I often offer him a little salt and pepper to go with it but he seems quite content to have it just plain.
Now that he's 4 months (and 17#) we have transitioned him from my sling to a backpack. He seems to really enjoy his perch up high above our heads in the backpack.

SO cute! I love the new carrier (Justin loves it, too, and is researching to find us one as I write this! ;). I also love how Ian is drooling and sitting up in his Bumbo - something Seb is having fun with, as well!
Miss you guys and give Ian a huge hug for us!
So cute, and I cannot believe how fast time has gone by. It makes me wonder how fast time will fly once this baby arrives - yikes!
Hope you are all well -
I can't believe how big he has gotten...and so handsome! How time flies! Love the backpack!
