I'm a month behind again... Here are some photos from Halloween. Ian wanted to be an astronaut and was quite a hit. He practiced wearing his costume EVERYWHERE for weeks before halloween. I had to wash it at least 3-4 times BEFORE Halloween even arrived. I was reminded of myself and my wedding dress and the fact that I had to have it dry cleaned before our wedding because I had worn it so much around our apartment before we got married! They say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree and I think they're right. Anyway, Mimi and I took the boys down to Ledgelawn Avenue in Bar Harbor. They close off the street and everyone decorates their home for the massive onslaught of trick-or-treaters. It was great! Ian was initially a little timid about walking up to the doors to get his candy but by the end of the night we were having to chase him he was moving so fast from house to house! Brendan also had fun in his puppy outfit and seemed most enchanted with all the decorations. He pointed to each and every pumpkin and said, "Pump-in." It looks as though it's snowing in some of the pictures but it actually was quite warm. What appears to be snow is actually light rain and mist from some of the fog machines people had set up in their yards.
