First Family Gathering at 17 Whitney Farm

Grammy and Papa came for a visit two weekends ago and we enjoyed our first family gathering at the property. Mimi and Ian built a campfire and Ian roasted marshmallows. Brendan enjoyed hanging out in the "basement" (the big hole where they will put the foundation). And I enjoyed watching everyone and thinking about how we will soon be in our home there (we are very close to finalizing the construction loan which means they can start building!). Grammy and Papa have their own little rental house on the island now and Ian enjoyed his first "sleepover." He thought he was such a big boy getting to go for a sleepover. It's so fun to have Mimi living with us and Grammy and Papa coming frequently for visits. We love having them so close and don't miss the long plane trips or the months between visits!
