Ok! It's been a month since I last updated the blog. I'll admit that now that I'm back on the east coast and seeing my parents on a regular basis I'm not as motivated to update the blog on a regular basis. Bad Mommy! However, if I don't update the blog then there will be no blog book at the end of the year and someday I will regret that I didn't take the time to record these precious years. They seem to be flying by so fast! So, be prepared for the massive update...
First, things are good. We have settled into our new lives here on Mt. Desert Island. Stephen has signed his contract and starts work on May 14th. I am anticipating that I'll sign my own contract in the next week or two and will start around May 21st. Although I have been enjoying the wonderful months of family time I am actually really excited to be starting work again. I will be joining a private practice and working part-time... just two days a week! I think it's going to be a good balance... lots of time with the boys but also a chance to wear my professional hat too.
A few weeks ago we returned to the Maine Jump (aka Bouncy House) with the boys. Ian earned it as a reward for completing his sticker chart (and we are happy to have a completely potty trained little munchkin - we said goodbye to our nap/bedtime pull-ups - woo hoo!) Here are a few pictures from our visit... I love the one of Stephen and Brendan after they fell off the horse... Stephen has a look of surprise on his face while Brendan looks unfazed!
