During the warm weather we took a picnic to sand beach one night. The picnic didn't turn out so well (we brought food that required utensils and ended up eating a lot of sand!) but Ian had a blast! He found a huge sand castle that someone had built and loved trying to demolish it... such a little boy!
The last picture is from our hike to Lake Wood. Ian is a great little hiker. He loves to climb over the huge granite rocks and spends a lot of time exploring. Hiking with him has changed how I hike... I no longer am anxious to get to a destination, now it's about the hike itself and all what we experience along the way.
