Stephen turned 40 yesterday! We started celebrating on Sunday with homemade cards from the boys, balloons, kluski (a Polish dumpling that Stephen loved as a boy and is now A favorite of our birthday menu planner - Ian!), and a chocolate cake decorated with gumdrops and M&M's (also done by our fabulous four year old party planner). We enjoyed a relaxed day at home Sunday. Last night I brought home pizza after work (so glad to have such a low maintenance husband!). And after dinner we went down to the pond for a swim. It was a blast! Stephen brought his wondsurf board and he and Ian paddled all over. Brendan and I took turns jumping off the raft. Eventually I couldn't resist and tipped over Oan Amd Daddy on the windsurfer. It was one of those moments that is so perfect and so filled with joy your heart just swells.
I LOVE my husband. I LOVE my family.
