Ian and I took a scenic drive today while Stephen was taking a kite
boarding lesson. We drove along the world famous "Road to Hana.". It's
a 52 mile stretch of twisty curvey road that snakes along the
northeast coast of the island. It has breathtaking views of the ocean
and dozens of single lane bridges that cross deep ravines. Ian slept
on our way out (we only drove about 25 miles out) but awoke shortly
after we turned around. He seemed to be enjoying all if the twists and
turns in the road. In fact, I caught a glimpse of him with both hands
raised in the air as we were coming around some curves... He looked
like a kid on a roller coaster ride! It was too cute! I managed to
get a few shots of the moment (don't worry Grandpa, I pulled over to
take the photos:).
