Here is his first time on a scooter - he tried one out at his friends' Devon, Gavin and Ethan's house - he seemed quite proud of himself :)
We've been trying all sorts of new foods, I've found that he prefers textures to purees and he also likes to try to feed himself so I often will just put a scoop of whatever we are eating on his tray and let him go at it. Here's one of the messier nights, Indian dal - Yum!
We also have established a routine that when dinner is over Stephen and I draw straws for who will do the dishes and who will clean up Ian... Ian is definitely the more challenging clean-up duty!He's always wanting to try whatever we are eating - is this a bad sign?
We went to the beach to watch Daddy kiteboard - I tried to get a picture of him smiling but he was much more interested in eating the sand and dune grass...

SUCH a beautiful photo of you and little Ian! :) I've missed you, but have been keeping up on the website (as you and Stephen know ;). Can we chat this week? I'll call you on my way into work. Things have been super busy around here with family coming to stay (my brothers are here for Brady's bachelor adventures!), so I'm sorry we've not have connected for a couple weeks!
Can't believe how big Ian is getting, though!
