OK... I think I'm ready to share the photos of my growing belly. I've been rather self conscious about looking chubby rather than pregnant. But I figured that now that I am officially wearing maternity apparel I need to stick it out and show it off as much as possible.
I'm 20 weeks today and still feeling great! Little Jelly Bean (my newest pet name for our little one) is moving like crazy. I felt his/her first flutters about 2 1/2 weeks ago and was totally enchanted. I think (s)he is going to be a traveler because when we flew down to San Diego the other day (s)he was doing flips all day long. I could just picture her/him doing somersaults in there thinking, "yippee, another airplane ride!"
Our next ultrasound is on October 1st (I'm proud to say that I have been able to refrain from subjecting our little one to lots of self-sonograms. I did break down one evening around 17 1/2 weeks and took a 30second peek - and saw a quick glimpse of her/his hand waving back and forth at me). Hopefully we'll be able to see if (s)he's a Jelly beanette or Jelly bean. So exciting!

What a lovely belly :) Just wait three more weeks- you'll really pop! So excited for you!!
Okay, here I am again comparing my pregnant belly to the "belly marker" photos you have so thoughtfully provided for me. ;) At nearly 19 weeks, I currently look like you did at 24. Yikes. Granted, I'm proud of my growth (read: not GIRTH ;) and am so thankful that I have you to compare myself to each week, but I'm thinking 19 vs. 24 is kinda ridiculous. ;) Cannot wait to one day compare your first pregnancy pics to your second. Until then, I shall keep on visiting you in cyberspace to measure my little peanut's growth. ;) xoxoxox
