Florida!

We had another wonderful week in Florida with Grandma and Grandpa.  Grandma spoiled us with a never ending supply of Kleuski, quiche and scones and Grandpa kept the boys laughing with lots of tickles and silliness.  We spent most of our time playing at their house or doing something local like going to the park or out in the canoe.  We discovered the Cocoa Beach Aquatic Center which is a gem!  There's a large pool compete with a water slide and kiddie spray park.  The kiddie area wasn't open when we were there but the water slide was a huge hit!   Ian must have gone down it over 100 times (literally)!   And Brendan was a but timid at first but eventually overcame his fear and went up and down for over an hour!
We also made a trip to Disney World which was fun for the boys but a bit traumatic for us as parents.  I know it's blasphemous nit to love Disney but we didn't!  It was crowded and loud and seemed like we paid a ton of money for some mediocre, passive entertainment.  I would much, much prefer to hike to the top of a mountain or go skiing or camping as a family but I've always known we aren't exactly mainstream.
We also got to see Audrey, Emily and Brian a ton which is always fun.  The boys adore the girls and love whenever they are around.  The best part is that we will see them again in just 10 days when they come up to experience Maine in the winter (we're hoping winter will hold on just long enough for them to enjoy some skiing!).
