One week old!

Brendan turned one week on Friday.  It's been a wonderful first week and we have already seen many changes in our little man.  His face looks much more defined and he seems to be settling in to life in our home.  He is a remarkably good baby.  He loves to EAT and nurses every 1-2 hours throughout the day.  But he is also an amazing little sleeper.  At night he tucks into bed with me and promptly falls asleep.  He continues to sleep through the night awakening only for feeding and then falling back to sleep.  He also will join me for 2-3 hour naps every afternoon - again, awakening only to nurse midway through the nap.  I am feeling remarkably well rested considering I have a newborn.
With each day he is a little more alert and spending a little more time awake, looking around at the world.  Ian is doing well.  Having his grandparents here to dote on him has been incredibly helpful.  He seems to be unaffected so far by Brendan's arrival.  We shall see how things progress once Grammy and Papa head back to NH.  I will admit that I am a little anxious about how I will manage the two of them alone once Stephen goes back to work.  I keep telling myself that there are Mom's all over the world handling not just two but three, four, five... children at a time!
Here are some photos of our little man...
