My parents headed back home today after a wonderful week together. I am so grateful that they arrived hours before Brendan was born and were able to spend this first week of his life together. They were so helpful... they changed diapers (both big and small), cooked, cleaned, organized, took Ian to the park, playroom, swimming pool and store and showered him with loads and loads of attention. They also watched both Ian and Brendan so that Stephen and I could go to the movies one evening and out to dinner another evening. We will miss them but are heading east in 3 weeks to introduce Brendan to his other Grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles and close family friends.
