Ian and I flew to Denver yesterday to spend a long weekend with Grammy and Grandpa. We had on time flights and an easy trip overall. It's the last time he will be able to fly for free since he turns two next week. I must say we've made good use of the airlines lap child policy. Who else can say they have flown over 80,000 miles for FREE! Even if the airlines were not forcing us to start buying his tickets I would probably need to give in and buy his own anyway since my lap is tiny these days and sesame will soon need a place of his own. I kind of felt like I was traveling with two lap children... Sesame is taking up quite a bit of space these days and Ian is no pip-squeak!
Anyway, we arrived late last night and enjoyed waking up in our lovely rental home. It is unseasonably warm here (65 degrees) so we enjoyed a relaxing morning on the patio followed by long naps and a trip to the park.
Ian was a star on the playground... He was going down the steepest slides he could find and even scaled the rock climbing wall! What a monkey!
