Ian and I went on what I am now calling a "MIA" or Mommy & Ian Adventure! We left Daddy on-call a week ago and headed four hours south on route 101 to find a hotel in Wilitz, CA. Ian figured out how to turn on the TV and was mesmerized by a fitness infomercial! He has seen virtually no TV but on this trip he got his fair share because I brought along a portable DVD player to keep him entertained during the 14 hours of driving that was planned. I realized very quickly that I will only buy him movies that I enjoy and could watch over and over because I already know many of the lines to "Elmo Goes To Grouchland" quite well! Anyway, we enjoyed a quick stay at a motel in Wilitz and then headed on our way to see our dear friends Jess, Justin and Sebastian. Ian had a blast playing with Sebastian and I enjoyed catching up with Jess... who is 33 weeks pregnant with a little girl. We are all excited to meet her when she arrives on September 1st!
