My first Mother's day was fantastic! Ian is quite the sophisticated little 3 month old. He had a corsage waiting for me at the hospital when I arrived to see my patients, he took me out to breakfast and made me a delicious dinner, he picked me flowers and wrote me the sweetest card (that expressed how I have the best boobs in the world) he even found a way to make it to the post-office (in Oakland) and mail me a card! Wow! He's set a bad precedent for future Mother's days.
And yesterday I had a wonderful 34th birthday complete with lots of good friends, good food and a relaxing day with my family. We toasted my day with Mimosas at breakfast and I remembered back on the wish I made last year when I blew out my candles... to become pregnant and have a healthy child. Wishes do come true.
