Last week Ian turned 6 weeks old and I went and ran the Redwood Wild River 5K - a goal I had set for myself when he was a week old. I didn't win any awards (in fact I was in the back of the pack with the <8>80 year-olds) but it felt like an accomplishment none the less. Ian's not quite old enough to run yet but I put him in his converse all-stars and let him wear my race bib to share in my victory.
A little bit of this and that about the boys in my life... Daddy, Ian, Brendan and Miles.

Road Races, Dinner Dates and Growth Spurts...
We've been keeping busy...

Stephen and I dropped him off at our friend Kelly's house on Saturday night and went out on a date together... it was wonderful! I'll admit that it felt strange to not have him with us but we enjoyed having a chance to reflect back on the past 7 weeks of our lives and how much things have changed. Unfortunately Saturday also was the first day of what I'm hoping is a growth spurt... Ian has reverted back to feeding every 3 hours at night - argh! Guess that's why he hit 13 pounds today! Here are a few "artistic" pictures that we took...
