Baby wearing!

Ian turns 8 weeks tomorrow. He continues to become more interactive and grow (he's 13 1/2 pounds now). Now that he has good head control I've been experimenting with different ways of using my wrap to keep him with me but allow me to have both hands free. The women from my village in Africa have been my inspiration and my motivators. Knowing that they start putting their babies on their backs from the time they are born has reassured me that he will be OK and that it's not that really all that complicated to put him back there (I remember watching my 7 year old neighbor put her baby sister on her back with the ease that you and I put on our coats). Anyway, here are some pictures of me and my little munchkin doing some gardening...

Here we are ready for a walk on the beach on a blustery day...

Here we are in our back yard. Stephen has been hard at work making it beautiful... notice the new lights over the door and the decorative trim as well as the pergola and gate on the left... the gate opens to where our hot tub is situated and provides complete privacy.

Here's Stephen on the other side of the pergola. It's beautiful and gives us a wonderful private courtyard out back.
And here's Ian after a busy day of gardening and walking on the beach...

HAHAHAHA! I love the disembodied head floating in front of your fleece. So funny!
