A few weeks ago I went to the store with both the boys. I needed a lot of groceries so I couldn't put Brendan's car seat in the main basket with Ian in the seat as I usually do. I was contemplating putting Brendan in the wrap when Ian said, "Mommy, put me in the wrap."
Hummmm... I knew how to put him on my back in it but hadn't actually done it for over 2 years. Did I dare try it in the parking lot of the grocery store - without a mirror or soft surface on which he could fall if I messed up? Sure! Within a minute or two I had Ian attached to my back and Brendan's car seat on the seat of the stroller and off we went! It turned out to be a lot of fun having Ian on my back and since then we've had a lot of fun with him in the wrap. Even Stephen has tried it out and agrees that it's a lot of fun (and much more comfortable than having Ian on his shoulders). Oh how I love the simplicity and versitility of the wrap! What other carrier can accommodate a newborn to 2 1/2 year old?!?
